I began my career in operations management & developed an extensive background in the customer service industry, learning valuable lessons in time management, organization & dedication. I enjoyed the role immensely & was able to take my 'people skills' to the next level.
In 2014, I was involved in selling two homes personally, which allowed me to realize just how much I loved the real estate process. This was my 'push' into learning the intricacies of the business, which eventually led me to become a fully licensed real estate agent in 2015.
After finishing my Real Estate education, I decided to specialize in residential real estate, so that I could focus on families & individuals with their home buying & selling journeys. I went on to complete my studies in interior design in the years to follow, allowing me to assist clients in sprucing up their homes & offer professional staging.
Since starting my Real Estate career five years ago, I’ve witnessed the Alberta economy take a downturn in late 2015, which resulted in hardships for the Fort McMurray area. We then experienced the 2016 wildfire, which affected every industry. It's been a tough journey here in Northern Alberta, but I wholeheartedly believe we Albertans can pull through.
Four years later, we find ourselves amid the coronavirus global pandemic & Fort McMurray has undergone another major disaster with the recent flooding. With a lot of heart, dedication & our amazing community, I fully expect us to bounce back with the resilience I know we possess.
With any luck, the construction of the long-awaited pipelines will help us to thrive again & if you've been reading the news, you may have seen a glimmer of light with the Transmountain project.
After all the challenges we’ve faced, I’m even more determined to make my clients’ property dreams come true. I render honest advice from start to finish & I value every step of the process in both purchasing & selling a property. My Buyers may look at 2 homes or may look at 50, whatever it takes to ensure my clients find the perfect home in the end. My Seller's can expect honest feedback & dedication to selling their home whether on the marketing front or open houses on the weekends.
From a young age, a hard work ethic has been ingrained into my everyday life, as I watched a strong woman raise 3 little ones all while working full time. Success in this industry comes from working early mornings & extremely late evenings to ensure that my clients’ needs are met.
My amazing clients also play a massive role in making sure that the hard work pays off. The pure happiness that my clients express during possession day is rewarding (I especially enjoy seeing the infectious joy of first-time homebuyers as they take a huge step towards their future).
When I am not 'on the clock', my spare time includes taking care of my two busy boys, spending time with family & endless hours at the hockey arenas for their games & practices. When I get a few hours to myself, I enjoy golfing at our beautiful courses, playing softball, and heading outdoors in the summer months.
